The room fell silent, the only thing that was heard was Charles's heavy breathing as he stared at the head of the head sentinel in charge of Ava, his face filled with fear.
I stared at Charles and Elena, my glowing eyes flickering between their nervous faces.
“Explain to me,” I began, my voice low but full of venom. “How my Ava was kidnapped by an impure wolf under your watch,” I paused with a scoff, my eyes filled with disdain.
