The night was quiet, too quiet. The only sounds I could hear were the rustling leaves and the distant howls of wolves. My heart was heavy, my mind restless.
I needed space to think, I couldn't bear it anymore, I have been avoiding Ava for so long that rumors started spreading very fast in Luna's estate that I was scared of Ava…which was actually kind of true.
I left the palace without telling Amelia or Charles. I needed to see Elena.
