Arthur's POV
I drove back home in anger, I stayed back at a hotel for two days, unable to face Ava after having a meeting with the ancestors.
The ancestors’ words echoed in my mind, a storm raging inside me.
"You must kill Ava."
The anger flaring up choking me, My chest tightened as if an invisible force had wrapped itself around my ribs, squeezing the air out of my lungs.
My hands trembled against the wheels table, knuckles turning white, finally I came to a stop, slamming my hand on the honk.
“Fuck,” I screamed.
What was happening to me? Why should I kill Ava? Why does it have to be the first woman I fell in love with? Was this some kind of punishment?
My mind slowly darting back to the impure wolves I had killed in the past, could this be the cause of their vengeful souls?
“Kill Ava?” I muttered, shaking my head.
I couldn't do it.
But could I ignore a prophecy from the ancestors?
My mind slowly drifted back to my last conversation with Elena last night.
"You heard them, did
