Arthur’s POV
Elena ran as fast as she could, but I was faster. She tried to take the next turn but I caught up to her, grabbing her arm and spun her around. Before she could scream, I shoved her against the cold stone wall. The impact made her gasp, her wide eyes staring up at me in terror.
“Elena,” I said, gripping her wrist tightly. “You’ve been avoiding me.”
Her chest rose and fell quickly, panic making her breath shaky. “Let go of me Arthur,” she growled, her eyes filled with venom.
I scoffed, leaning closer. “Haven't always wanted to be close to me?”
“Not close to this beast, I know who you are,” she whispered.
I tilted my head, smirking. “Do you?”
Her lips trembled, but she didn’t look away. “I know you are fully synced with your devil Alpha now.”
“I wasn't hiding that from you,” I shrugged. “How can I hide it from a seer, you must have seen it before it happened–” I paused studying her reaction. “You didn't see it, did you?”
