Standing by the door with no one in sight I could hear his voice. "Who are you? Show yourself," I said in a shaky voice and my palms were getting cold in anxiety.
"Do not be scared Princess Valerie, I'm not here to hurt you. Well, I wouldn't have helped you if I wanted to harm you,"
"That's a fair point, So are you a ghost of some kind because I can't see you,"
"I'm sorry about that my princess, Look down at your feet," I did as he said to my surprise I saw a dwarf.
"How come I didn't see you at first?" I asked in curiosity. "Well, I'm a scientist and was just trying my latest invention, temporary invisibility. But, there are still loopholes which need a lot of improvement."
I looked at him in awe, it was rare to come across commoners who were into science. Invisibility through science was the first of its kind as only witches were capable of such spells.
"Thanks for saving me, I have to go now. I'm sure Sigil is looking for me," my foot was bandaged but the pain wasn't
