JACK'S POV
I successfully removed one hand from the chain and just as I was about to remove the other the cell door was opened wide and the guards held out the key.
"What's going on?" I asked in confusion as I needed to know where we wanted to take me.
"Princess Valeria is back home, so the king summons you immediately." He said as he opened the lock on the chains. It was a good thing I hadn't successfully escaped yet for I would have missed Valeria.
I got to the throne room and Valeria ran over to me and hugged me tightly. "I'm glad you are safe Valeria, Were you kidnapped? Are you hurt? What happened? Was it your-"
"Calm down Jack, I'm not that hurt anymore. The only injury I sustained was out of my carelessness."
