BROOKE'S POV

I had barely had enough sleep and now it was already morning. I couldn't help it, sleep was the least of my worries right now. What gave me more trouble was the thought of how we were going to get out of this cave and find a better place to stay since my father, the Alpha was never going to have me back in his palace, all thanks to that little demon, Valeria!

Looking over at my mom's side of the bed, I realized that she was still fast asleep and there was no sign that she would be waking up anytime soon. I had to wake her myself and remind her that we had to leave at once before the kind man who had accommodated us would begin to flood me with questions once again.

I didn't want any of that, and I was certain my mom didn't want that either, more reason why she had quietly ignored the both of us as the man asked me endless questions about my father.
