VALERIA'S POV
"I think you should take it easy on him. I'm sure he will come around very soon." I said, turning to my father whose angry face swept me off. "I suggest you go there by yourself and have a word with them. I'm certain Brooke will never have the guts to reject your call when he sees you personally."
He raked with anger and boiled with rage the instant I dropped the last word. "Never! Never will I appear before Brooke or his mom to apologize to them. Since they have decided to disrespect my guards, that also shows they will have no regard for me. So what difference does it make? I'm never going to step foot there! Not now, not ever!"
I knew my father to be strong-headed, especially when it came to matters concerning Brooke and his mom. He detested them with everything in him and left them to him, he was never going to search for them.
He only did it because I asked him to, and now that he had fulfilled the promise he made to me, he would never dare go after them again.
