The words hangs in the air, and I immediately feel mortified as every eye in the room turns to me. I internally wince at the stupid suggestion. How could that possibly work?

"I..." I hesitate, unsure. "Maybe we can use something that affects only witches and spread through the air? Even if it doesn't kill them, at least make them uncomfortable enough that they're forced to leave the area and come out where we'll be waiting for them?"
