Deborah stood completely still for a moment, trying to organize her mind and prepare herself for what was to come, instead of panicking. Unfortunately, however, this also gave Iron enough time to pull the window up, breaking the pure steel locks that held it in place.
And, in the next instant, without Deborah being able to do anything to stop it, that man was already inside her children's room, staring at her as if she had pierced his chest and ripped out his heart.
“You… You gave birth to cubs…” he mumbled, his voice sounding strangled as he looked around at the toys strewn across the floor and the beds with colorful sheets “Our cubs!”
“No. My cubs.” Deborah rolled her eyes, focusing only on the destroyed window to avoid his gaze “And, thanks. Now my children will spend the night getting drafty and probably catching a cold…”
“I saw them!” Iron growled, stepping closer to her as if ready to grab her arm “I saw their faces, especially the eyes of that little girl… My daughter…” he murm
