It was on the tip of her tongue to ask 'why do you care' but she just adjusted herself on the chair and spoke more calmly instead.
"Well, I don't know yet. Why do you ask?" She said rather politely.
"I just wanted to know, nothing much." He told her.
Blaire could bet that his voice immediately sounded sad and the smile that was on his face soon vanished immediately she said it.
She just shrugged and went back to eating. They ate and Blaire packed the plates while Oscar cleaned. They arranged and set up the house before going out to complete Blaire's punishment.
The day ended with Oscar spending the night at Blaire's home. They didn't talk much and just slept.
