His face goes pale and he takes a staggered step back before he starts to shake with tears brimming his eyes. Asher and Alex rush to his side and I look in the box with Bel by my side "Oh god" she says and starts to cry then rushes out of the room the best she can with her big belly.
I'm still starting into the box when my mom, papa and dad run into the room.
"What's going on" my mom says
"She's alive" I sit down and say still in a daze with the box in my hands.
"What are you talking about" my mom takes the box from me and starts to take the contents out, placing them on the table one by one.
In side the box is a picture of Sapphire holding three small toddlers and four pictures, one of each of them with a price written on it. In all the pictures she has a thick heavy looking collar around her neck and bruises on her face.
"Their being sold" my mom says softly passing the pictures to my papa. My mom then pulls then pulls out a folded paper and start to read it out loud.
