The moment her eyes met mine, a sudden rush to my heart made it beat fast. She smiled sweetly at us, and I felt like I melted with her innocent gaze and sweet smile.
Unknowingly, I placed my palm above my heart. My heart beat peacefully at the sight of her smiling at us, she crawls, and we go inside. Delia brought her into her arms, my hands were shaking, and my throat narrowed.
"Baby, she's your Mommy," Delia said, and the baby looked enthusiastic with what she heard. So, I offered my hands to carry her, and to my surprise, she went to me. I embraced her tightly, and I could listen to her baby sounds.
