CHAPTER 41

"Good morning, my Giovanna!" I said to the baby, who was sitting in a baby stroller. Silver delivered it last night. 

I kissed her chubby cheeks. We are in the garden watching the mountains, birds, and blue skies together. I was startled when someone kissed me on my cheeks. It was the jerk. 

"Good morning, babe. Good morning to my baby girl," Giovanni said; she giggled at what she heard from her father. 

"I know who is her favorite now," Giovanni said. I fake my smile at him and look at my baby girl. She smiled at us. "She loves to smile," Giovanni commented. I nodded. 

"Sandro sent me her detailed information and her monthly check-up. Everything is good," Giovanni said and pinched her chubby cheeks. "That's good to know," I responded. 

"Are you not going to work today?" I asked him. 

"I am on sick leave. Between you and I, who should be at the office now?" he asked as he wiggled his eyebrows. I stomped my feet
