CHAPTER 39
Penny left me to pay my bills because I requested to my physician that I want to be discharged today. I am outside of my room waiting for Penny. My room is beside Giovanni, and I hadn't seen him today, so I decided to walk inside his room.
"I said leave me alone," he said when he heard the door closed.
"The audacity, Giovanni?" I sarcastically said, and he immediately looked at me.
He is typing on his laptop. It seems like he is working. "Are you discharged now, Thalia? How are you feeling?" he asked worriedly, nodded.
"Are you supposed to rest, Giovanni? Why are you working right now?" I asked him coldly and looked at him emotionless.
He looks tired and stressed. His hair is messy. I fought the strong urge to fix his hair, but I stopped myself because we were not yet okay.
