I stood in the hallway, my eyes locked on Klaus. We were both standing outside Max's room, and I could tell that Klaus was still worried about her.
But as I looked at him, I felt a surge of anger. He had been spending so much time with Max, taking care of her and watching over her. And I couldn't help but feel jealous despite knowing her stand in all of this.
"You're always so concerned about her," I said, my voice low and even. "You've been here in the last few days of her rest, don't you think you should give her a break?"

"I'm very grateful for your help saving her and taking care of her but can you give her a break," I said, my anger rising. "You're always trying to tell her what to do, and you never listen to what she wants."
