Mom opened the glass door before Dad could answer her whereabouts. My elegant, kind-hearted but strict, and worse than my father dealing with the women I met in my lifetime has a smile on her lips. No, it was not just an ordinary smile but an excited one.
“Grandma Thea!” Bree squealed that she could not contain her excitement. She climbed down her chair after leaving her pencil and workbook on the table. She ran excitedly to my mother, leaving my Dad and me feeling lost in what was happening.
