When I glanced to my left, my heart began to sporadically beat and I pushed myself further into Demetrius' chest when Merlin lowered himself next to me.
How can Alex and Demetrius be so calm right now?

"Little Ana..." Demetrius' voice broke the silence and he gently said, "let him explain properly."
I said nothing in return, my fingers left the death grip I had on my own flesh to twist around the fabric of Demetrius's shirt, my fear was mixed with bewilderment. Merlin's eyes were calm and understanding, no anger .... not even jealousy lingering behind those depths.
