Freya's POV
I couldn't bear to see the tears flowing down my little boy's eyes. I was such a bad mother, hiding behind everything. I tried hard to keep my emotions in order, making every attempt not to let Michael see any suspicion in my reactions towards Waylen. This wasn't the best time to let him know. But then, somehow Michael got drenched in anger as he lost control towards Ambrose.
My attempts to stop him failed as I placed a hand on my wrist, hurting it in the process of getting support when Ambrose pushed me badly. "Michael!" I called, trying to find my footing.
