By that time the elders of the haveli started waking up but were still in their rooms doing their morning routine. Inaayat started to clean the rooms of family members starting with Dadi's room. Dadi was bathing with a maid helping her due to her being old and weak. Then she went clean Thakur and Thakurain's master bedroom.
She knocked and the door got opened by the Thakurain herself. The shower was running that meant Ranvijay was in the shower. Thakurain opened the door wide for Inaayat and she entered inside with her scared and small steps. Without raising her head for even a second she started dusting and cleaning the room. She could feel Thakurain's heated gaze at the back of her head but didn't have courage to look at her.
With her trembling hands she cleaned the room as soon as possible. She picked the bucket and broom to leave the room but Thakurain's voice stopped her dead in her tracks.
"Sun ladki!" Thakurain called her and she stood frozen at her place.
