I grabbed my little death goddess by her arm just as she hit the patio.
"Are you fucking stupid, Riley. Were you trying to get yourself killed? All of us killed?" I shouted in her face as I pushed her against the brick wall.
"Me? You're the asshole giving into a fucking psycho, who also happens to be some powerful demon." She pushed me hard in the chest, making me chuckle how it didn't budge me the slightest. She was so weak, and fuck, it turned me on so much. I was pissed at her, but also so fucking grateful she was alive.
