"EJ, do you remember how the woman look like?" tanong ko. Umupo ako nang tuwid at tumingin sa lalaki.
EJ stared at me. Somehow his expressionless face grew a bit brighter than usual.
"Of course I do," sagot niya. "Long black hair, dark brown eyes, pale skin, with big eyeglass---"
"With eyeglass?" awat ko. "Is she a nerd?"
"Hindi lahat ng nerd, naka-eyeglass," sagot ni Eiji. "But yeah, she looked nerdy. Seemed like a first-timer on this bar but clearly not a first-timer on this kind of bar."
"Oh."
"She looked pretty since she wear no makeup. And probably, mabango siya. Kung amuyin mo kasi parang gusto mong singhutin lahat ng---"
"Oy! Oy! Hold up! Hold up! What are you saying you brat?!" sigaw ko. Luminga-linga ako sa paligid. Baka kasi may taong makarinig at isipin na isa akong manyak sa babae.
Nagkibit-balikat si EJ. "I'm telling the truth. You laid your head on her shoulder comfortably."
"Jesus!!"
Kahiya-hiya ang ginawa ko.
