At her desk, Shada was brooding. She hasn't even finished filling out her worksheet. Her gaze was straight ahead as if it could penetrate the thick monitor in front of her. Shada supported her chin with her right hand.
Ruth who was beside Shada occasionally observed the woman. In the next minute, the phone ringing in front of them immediately broke Shada's reverie.
Suddenly, Shada picked up the phone. Ruth just shook her head as she exhaled heavily seeing Shada was not like usual.
"Hello? Oh yeah─eh? It's a little less. I'll send it to your email in a minute." Shada said and hung up. Shada sucked in as much air as she could and immediately resumed her unfinished work.
Ruth leaned sideways towards where Shada was sitting. "Who's calling?" she asked curiously.
Shada answered with her eyes still focused on the monitor screen in front of her. She sighed as she rolled her eyes lazily. "Huft... the usual, Richard."
