Just as Nathan was preparing to summon Ericka, Mike said urgently.
"Sir, she isn't here,"
Nathan raised an eyebrow. “Where did she go?" he asked in a infuriated tone that send chills down Mike's spine.
"She went to the main office" Mike retorted hesitatingly. He thought it was a small task and Ericka could do it for him but Mike never expected that his boss would choose this particular day for his scheme out of all days...!
"What’s she doing in that office?” Nathan was getting more and more frustrated.
Mike, fidgeting nervously, responded, “Well, sir… you see… I sent her.”
Nathan’s expression darkened. “You...what?" his tone was high and aggressive. Mike jolted a step back.
"She is my secretary, Mike not an office assistant to run chores for you..." Nathan fumed in anger. Mike was speechless. His boss is scary sometimes but when it comes to the topic of his little secretary, he is a monster in a human form...!
