She was saved but the situation clearly left her in a vicious corner. She wasn't able to say a word as an explanation as Nathan's men entered the room and dragged her out of it.
Ericka, however, didn't protest. It had become a regular thing for her being treated that way but the only thing that bothered her was the humiliation that she felt while those huge men were dragging her out of the bustling office building like a criminal.
She hung her head and fought back the urge to cry.
I wasn't going to say no to come with him, why does he have to go to such length just to humiliate me...! Ericka thought as she was thrown into the car. Soon, she was brought back into that mansion of a prison again but this time, she wasn't allowed to roam freely.
Jim was instructed to keep her locked in her room and her phone was snatched by them again. Ericka slumped into one of the corners of that beautiful hell, thinking about what her life has become.
