She wasn't physically hurt but something inside of her was making her heart cry out.
I could feel her distress and the need to let out her agony in my bones. But I couldn't comprehend why it was this way.
While her heart felt like crying, my heart felt empty. The same way it was before meeting her.
I reached my place in a few minutes and went straight to the room with a sigh coming from my mouth.
Nobody else's scent lingered on my way back so it was her fighting her inner demons instead of my demonic people.
