Edward sat in the backseat of a sleek Maybach on a wide highway. He was answering a call from Elias' secretary, Mitch.
Initially, he didn't want to pick up, but he knew that Mitch was only calling him under Elias' instructions. Edward wanted to know what Elias was up to now.
Was he planning to use the antidote in his hands to negotiate with him? Would he make him kneel and apologize to Sharon? Or force him to marry her?
Either way, Elias would have to dream on. Did he really think everything in the world was in the palm of his hand? That he had no other way of getting the antidote? Edward was going to prove him wrong.
"Our private jet is already en route, Mr. Fowler. It should land in about an hour. Once it arrives, I'll have someone deliver the antidote to the hospital," Mitch said.
After hearing that, Edward wasn't thankful at all. "Don't beat around the bush. What are your terms?" he asked apathetically.
