Chapter 169: If Only
Jasmine's POV
I wasn't expecting Diego to say those words to me. I mean, that's the first time he talked to me like that and ignored me after saying it. Is he jealous? But he has nothing to be jealous of after all Travis and I are divorced and we had nothing to do with each other.
It's just that, it makes me annoyed when he keeps on looking at me. I didn't mean to upset Diego.
I just can't let him think that I'm still into Travis because I'm not. Damn it! Why did he keep on looking at me like that? It was his fault!
“ Are you gonna ignore me every day like this?” I couldn't stop but to confront him while we were inside the forest to get some fruit. He didn't answer me, but I heard him sigh.
I don't want us to be like this. I'm not used to him treating me this way. It's making me uncomfortable and upset at the same time.
“ Diego” I called him and he looked at me. but he didn't say a word. I feel hurt by the way he looks at me uninterested.
I let out a heavy breath.
