He tightened his hand around the phone, his eyes still on Gia, who had her hand pressed to her chest, trying to make out why she was hearing Axel's voice coming from the phone.
The fear was the same as Jane's; her eyes went watery, and it seemed she was taking all her strength not to bolt out of the room.
Seeing her reaction, he turned away and walked out, shutting the door behind him before speaking into it, "I saw what you wanted me to see, Axel, and I'm not pleased."
Axel chuckled, "They didn't meet your expectations, I see; too bad; I wanted to please you so much, and Jane... Yeah, that's her name. What did you do to her?"
