Chapter: Vicky
I'm seated on one of the benches outside. The day is nice and cool, and that's all that matters. I try my very best to not focus on Archie that is not too far from me, playing basketball. The sweat on his skin against the sun gives it a golden cast. He looks so good. I look back at my book trying to hide the blush on my face. I blame the sun for making my face red. Archie looks at me, then his game, then back at me. I can see the lingering gaze. Almost like he wants to speak to me. Probably to tell me to stay away from him. “And what are you doing here?." I turn my head to the voice and my heart beats so fast. It's Anderson - no, Ander. I get up ready to leave, but he grabs my shoulders, positioning me in place. I try my very best not to focus on the fact that his hands are on me. Anything but that. Like the birds in the sky, or the trees or Archie's abs. My face reddens even deeper. “I'm reading. I have an assignment I'm doing research on so I ca-" “Well, I didn't ask you.“ Ande

Chapter: Ander
My alarm blares so loud I'm sure astronauts can hear it. I groan and stretch to grab my phone. I silence it, about to toss it somewhere random, when I remember. I have a class. I check the time on my phone. The class started 15 minutes ago. I stand up and run to the bathroom. I don't want to shower, but I have to because I reek of alcohol. I bath, brush my teeth and don't comb my hair. A cap solves that problem. My outfit is a baseball cap, a shirt, the school blazer and a pair of jeans. I run out of the dorms, then forget to carry my phone. I contemplate leaving it but I don't. There could be some important messages on it. As soon as I run back upstairs and grab it, it starts ringing. It's my mother. “Yes mother?" I say as I get on my bike. The only reason she's even calling me is because her precious child is either ignoring her or busy. She sighs million times, but I still don't end the call. "How are you honey? How's everything? Jesse? How is he?“"I'm fine. Jesse's fine. Ever

Chapter: Vicky
I'm awake rather early. The little aesthetic alarm clock I bought even after mom preached it was a scam read 6 am. I don't have any class till 10. Normally, I would've been waking up by 9.45. It's still so early, but there's ruckus in our dorm. It took me days to realize that college students don't sleep. We either party or study, and I've been doing neither. “Didn't expect you to be awake by this time." I'm startled to see Jesse like we don't share the same room. The water droplets on his skin make me know that he just finished showering. I turn to him smiling. “I'm surprised as well. My body just asked I be up so I am." Jesse returns the smile. He and Gideon have been the nicest to me. Because Kyle is 2 years higher than us, he sees us as little children, so there's almost nothing for us to talk about. Magnus is just a jerk, I've come to realize. “Well, do you want to come for coffee with me." He removed his towel and the way I turn my head is so fast, I get whiplash. Jesse not

Chapter: Ander
I'm leaving the building after my lecture and spot my brother's car. My first thought is to continue walking and completely pretend like I haven't seen him. It's of no use because he's seen me. He comes out of his car and sprints a little to catch up with me. “Aren't you a little too far away from your part of this campus?" “Andrez is in this school. I saw him not long ago." I stop walking and stare at my brother. He looks at me and sighs. “You already know? Why am I not surprised?" “I don't know what you're talking about. I haven't done anything. He's the sixth person in our dorm. I didn't know till I woke up next to him." I've already reached the parking spot where my bike is parked. I hop on it and secure my helmet in place. “I've told him to stay away from you. Do same." Archie is actually warning me. The fucker actually possessed such audacity.I scoffed. "If anything, please don't act innocent. It doesn't suit you. Also, he's in the same room with my boyfriend. We can't ign

Chapter: Vicky
I end up reaching my faculty. Not because I asked anybody, but because I walked and listened to people. There was this group of girls heading towards my direction so I subtly followed them. It took forever because these girls were determined to go everywhere else first. “Film And Multimedia Studies” is written in capital letters. I stare at it, marvelling at the beauty. It's so surreal. I take a picture to send to dad eventually. “The angle isn't right," someone behind me says. What was it with people talking to me? I turn around to see a blonde blue eyes guy smiling at me. He looks so beautiful if mom saw him, she'd take him home and lock him in the cupboard. “Huh?" I want to say more intelligent things but I was asking too much from my brain. That is the most it can procure.“The angle isn't right. If you're trying to get the whole thing, try taking your phone down a little." I'm embarrassed as I take his instructions. I'm glad I did it because the picture does actually come out

Chapter: Vicky
I try to turn to get more comfortable but there's something wrapped round my torso. I don't panic immediately because I'm just dreaming. I open my eyes and scream. So loud my other dorm mates run inside. All my years of pining finally manifested Anderson Matheos in my bed. This occurrence however doesn't seem to disrupt the four boy's staring at the scenario with disappointment. They're not supposed to be disappointed. It's Anderson we're talking about. My middle school and high school crush. “Can you stop embarrassing yourself." Jesse is on the bed trying to pull him away from me. “Wake up you deadbeat." Anderson finally opens his eyes. He groans and pushes his hair backwards. He's hotter than when I last saw him, during our graduation. He's hair is grown and his eyes seem a little bit brighter. “What's with all the ruckus? I'm sleepy." “Or hungover," some dude I didn't see yesterday snorts. “Definitely hungover." The others concur. “Okay big boy, come get some aspirin to help
