IN HELL WITH YOU

IN HELL WITH YOU

MATURE CONTENT: This book is strictly R18+ BLURB: Excerpt: Before I could turn toward him, the ground vanished beneath my feet. Again, a startled gasp tore from my throat as he lifted me with sudden force, and in the next breath, my legs were wrapped around his waist, his hands firm on my ass like I paid him to own it too. Before words could leave my mouth he kissed me deliberately. Like he needed to stir the moment. Stir something in me. My pupils flared at the shock of his movement, my heart pounding so violently it felt as though it might break free from my chest. "I wouldn't mind helping you strip if you aren't going to do it yourself?" His voice dripped demand that felt more like a command instead of a request. Too much of an aura for a one-night stand who I never knew was the husband I feared. ~~~ How will you feel when you wake up only to discover you had been set up for an arranged marriage with a man whose stories about him made ears that heard it tingle? Afraid, devastated, angry, right? Then what will be your reaction when you find out that a one-night stand whom you had paid to stir a scandal and stop the marriage turned out to be the arranged husband you're running away from? Now I believe words can't describe your feelings. However, that was my story. He wanted me, made rules for me. Made me fight to know who he was and now even my restraint can't subdue him rather he consumed every bit of me. What will become my fate when I find out what made me afraid of him, afraid of the city was actually who I was?

Chapter: This Is An Office
~Elowen~What happened last night flashed through me. My resolve had broken, I had let him run his fingers right inside of me. Owen had touched me that much! What if he tries to do it again, maybe do more? Right in this office!"No, please stop," I hissed under my breath, struggling to free myself from him, the warmness of his breath fanning my flushed face. However, it seemed that it only provoked something in him."Do you know there's something about the way you make me feel whenever you try to be stubborn at my orders?" His voice was husky, rasping with the heavy sound of his breathing."You are to obey my orders, Elowen. Every bit of it." His hands came upon my back, as if to make me feel the depth of his commands."You..." My voice broke and it made his eyes darken."Do not fight against me. Doing that always gets my nerves working. Do you know it drives me insane? It makes my muscles tighten and a knot forms at the pit of my stomach. You're driving me to do that which I crave.

Chapter: 27— Ulterior Motive
~Owen~Black knee skirt, cream colored shirt, and a matching blazer. The outfit accentuated her confidence while doing little to hide the grace in her movement. The cream fabric softened her features, creating a contrast against the dark tone of the office. However, that wariness in her eyes, intensifying with every second did not escape me. She was looking at me as if my scar had grown uglier over the night. Her eyes by now would have shot several bullets at me if they were designed to kill.I looked at her like a total nut of surprise she hadn't expected to wake up to. A curse she wants to escape.Being away last night had given her the chance to escape the touch of my hands, which she dreaded so much.Apparently, seeing me seated here today as the new CEO was the least she'd expected. Watching her cower at my presence made my lips slide into a sly smile."Are you going to stand there all day and watch me? Aren't you going to formally welcome me to the company?" I spoke. She stif

Chapter: 26— The Fear
~Elowen~"Good morning, Mr CEO. It's a great pleasure to welcome you to our studio and have you as our new CEO."Director Mike stepped forward, offering him a bow and extending a hand.He acknowledged the gesture with nothing more than a nod of his head and hand received in brief handshake.Again, the whispers rose, and everyone was as stunned as I was to hear the MD address him as the new CEO.Even the reporters and camera crews present to capture the moment hesitated, too intimidated to raise their cameras. All stared at him bewildered."He looks vicious," A lady beside me whispered."Sure he does," Her friend approved under her breath."Why is he on mask?""Probably he is too handsome and didn't want us to see his face?" The other lady giggled sheepishly."Or he has a deep scar that he doesn't want anyone to see." Her friend deadpanned. My hands clenched tight beside me.Everyone as if in que held up a gaze at him. Someone brave suddenly raised her hand for attention, questioning.

Chapter: 25— It Was Him
~Elowen~"I'm fine Emy. At least for now. I'm perfectly fine." I spoke in a low tone so as not to let any other person hear our conversation as I already noticed a sharp gaze some steps away from me, shifting between me and the car with that menace ached in her eyes. She must be thinking I had made a hit on one of those S-daddies to earn me such a luxurious car— what she always assumed people do because that's exactly how she manipulates to get to any position she wants. She was one of the city's treasured actresses, sweet as they call her but I know even Lucifer was once called an angel."I was afraid, Els. I didn't know what to do when I saw the message. Please forgive me. I should have done something to save you from him." Emily's voice trembled. My attention returned to her looking genuinely concerned and angry that she had done nothing to help me get away from Owen."You shouldn't be sorry, Emy. No one could have stopped him. No one will succeed." I tried to calm and assure her

Chapter: 24— New CEO
~Elowen~I woke up to the throbbing of my head, the aching of my body, and light sipping in through the open window and shining directly on my face. My whole body ached, part from too much tossing and turning on my bed and part from thinking of my new fate all through the night.Good thing he had not returned last night, giving me the chance to spend the night alone in the room, thinking, wondering where he had gone, what he was up to, wary of him walking right back through the door and running his fingers on me again.I kept asking myself questions I could not bring an answer to. Who truly was he? What life had he lived to earn him that scar? Who were those people who visited him last night that he left without returning? It seemed darkness lurked just knowing he's there somewhere. My phone buzzed, cutting short my deep thoughts, reminding me I should have been at the studio yesterday.I took the phone, staring at the caller ID. It was my manager.I was supposed to have been at the

Chapter: 23— It's Time
~Owen~“I have no idea of all you're talking about, Mr Vitmoz. Please believe me. I speak the truth. I know nothing about him and all the accusations.” He denied.I scoffed. "Fine. Since you want us to continue with this game. Then so be it. You and I are going to enjoy it." "Lock him up," I ordered Melvin, walking out of the cell room. Instantly, Mr Walker's grunting voice echoed off the bars, begging to be freed.Melvin proceeded to lock the bars from the outside."Mr Vitmoz, please don't do this to me. Please don't keep me here. I can't stand it!" Groaning, he struggled to his feet gripping the bars with his chained hands but he still was not giving any information."If you want to be freed. You know what to do." Let's see how long Whitehead can keep hiding. Having Walker here will send a clear message to him."I brought a friend who would take care of you while you make here your new home. Bring him in." Again, I ordered Melvin.A man came shuddering in front of Melvin as he was

~Adrian~"Have you even thought for once? They're going to find out. When they get close to her, with their sharp instinct in recognition, they'll find out she's not the true Luna. You can't fool the werewolves." "Then get your mark on her before everyone finds out. You know that's the only way to make her appear as the real Luna. Your wife was dying. I knew she wouldn't make it alive, so I did what I had to do because I don't want to lose you. I don't want you to go to jail. You are all that I have, there's no one else in this world." Mother said between tears. "Listen mother, I am not going to any jail until I find the killer of my wife," I said between gritted teeth, my chest burning, hot tears I held back brewing."And know it that if more problems arise from this, I'm not going to be part o

Chapter: 10 — Good For Us
~Adrian~My shoulders pressed against the wall, a bottle dangling lazily from my fingers. More bottles lined the floor, scattered and toppled. Some with a stubborn inch of whiskey left, some empty reflecting the life I couldn't recognize anymore. The room was dark, the air suffocating. Dust floated lazily in a spiral, light faintly illuminating the dark room from an old bulb that hung loosely on the ceiling. The room smelled of alcohol, of grief lingering in every corner.I tipped the bottle back and swallowed. The liquid sloshed, a hot burn sliding down my throat that did nothing to ease the pain in my heart.I didn't hear the door creak as Mother came rushing into the room. "Adrian," She ran to my side, eyes sweeping over the mess of bottles. "Son, you need to stop locking yourself up in this attic. Stop doing this to yourself." She reached for the one in my hand, gripped it firmly, and pulled it away. "Stay away from me and give that back to me." I slurred, my voice thick and jag

Chapter: 9 — Careless
~Odessa~"I… I lost my daughter?" Tears hot and biting brewed at the corners of my eyes, the words breaking as they left my lips."Yes, my dear," Margaret replied.I stared at the photograph in my hands cradling the baby with a tenderness that felt achingly lovely. So adorable baby you'd believe spring itself had chosen her to wear its joy.I couldn't hold it anymore. "I lost my child," The tears broke out, burning cruelly against my cold skin, the ache sharp like a blade mercilessly driven inside my heart. "No, Juliana don't cry. You have grieved the death of your child with your husband and have also moved on. So please, don't even think of letting those tears fall." Margaret persuaded, swiftly brushing the tears away from my eyes, not letting them spill on the heartwarming photo in my hands.I bit hard on my lip, swallowing the ache in my chest. I had forgotten my husband. Forgotten my child. They must have loved me deeply, and I must have loved them just as much. Was it why my h

Chapter: 8 — Fear and Disappointment
~Odessa~The room seemed to shrink the moment the door shut behind him. Shutting his dangerous aura along with him as he left. Instinctively I recoiled, my body folding into itself, my knees drawn up to my chest as my arms locked around them, the desperation to disappear from this horrible reality clawing at my chest. What have I done to deserve this kind of harsh treatment from him? Where had I gone wrong?Fear settled deep into my skin, leaving me trembling with tears blurring my vision. The tears continued freely down my cheeks, my mind in chaos trying to understand what was happening around me. But everything felt foreign. Still sobbing, Margaret wrapped her arms around me."Ju–Juliana, are you okay?" She whispered.I forced my gaze up at her gentle face contradicting my devastated one."Come, stand my dear." She said, urging me up. Taking the duvet and dabbing it over my shoulders, I felt the bed soft beneath me as I sat down.Contrary to the man I believed was my husband, my

Chapter: 7 — Not My Mate
~Adrian~I know I had not drunk any alcohol this morning to believe I was seeing things.I know it wasn't a hallucination to stand in front of a woman looking exactly like my dead wife.It had not been in a dream that day, it was not in a night to think it was one nightmare that I knew I'd wake up to not seeing its reality. It had been real. Very much real and I'd been the one to personally pull the shroud over her face drained of anything that spoke of life.My wife had died. Gone from me forever and it was barely a week since I buried her. I'd watched the two men with my own eyes pull her corpse in the glass-covered casket down into the seven fit dug grave. This isn't any madness to think that maybe she'd resurrected or will I say escape from the grave to run back to me and call me her husband again. We were not mortal either.I know the pain. The ache, the tears that never cease as I think of her every minute. I know how much I wished these powers I possessed could bring her back t

Chapter: 6 — Ghost
~Odessa~"Are you sure you can do this?" Margaret paused just as we stood in front of the door.I could feel her reluctance as she pulled at my hands again."Mother, there's nothing to be afraid of. Besides, you can see how strong I am now. So, there should be nothing to worry about. Besides, I'm going to be with my husband not some stranger who might be after my life." I spoke again, feeling my own anxiety getting the best of me. It was as if she was contemplating this moment I'd eagerly waited for a whole week.I took a deep breath, "You know what, Mother? You can go ahead. I want to meet him alone. I want it to be just the two of us."I wanted to share my lost moment with my husband and cry into his arms.I wanted to tell him how much I'd waited to see him and also hear him tell me how much he'd missed me— how scared he was when he thought he would lose me. And I wanted to do all these alone with him, with no eyes restricting me from how passionately I wanted to kiss him on his
