TAMING HARRISON COLE
SYNOPSIS:Taming Harrison Cole
Harrison Cole rules his empire with an iron fist. He is cold, untouchable and dangerously powerful. Jasmine is the opposite: Unyielding, disciplined and burdened by responsibilities she refuses to abandon and in her presence, defiance is not an option.
Assigned to care for the most difficult patient in the hospital,Jasmine expects arrogance not relentless cruelty. Harrison challenges her at every turn, stripping away her comfort and testing her limits but Jasmine doesn't break.
Pulled from the sterile hospital walls into a world of wealth, secrets and unseen battles, their tension begins to shift, walls crack ,trust emerges but the past refuses to stay unburied. Betrayal surfaces, a claim threatens everything and a truth could destroy them both.
In a world where power masks deception and loyalty is fleeting,Jasmine must confront her greatest defence;herself.
What if Harrison Cole is the man she shouldn't trust?. What if surviving him is far more better than getting close?.

Chapter: CHAPTER FIVE: LINE'S THAT SHOULDN'T BE CROSSED.Immediately Jasmine left , Margaret Cole's eyes landed on Harrison scanning his condition, breathing and posture.“Son”, she called.“Mother, I'm fine”, Harrison responded. She moved closer to the bed, stopping just close enough to touch him.“You weren't supposed to end up here”, she said softly .“I didn't schedule it”, he muttered. The door clicked then it pushed open diverting Margaret's attention. Dr. Richard Lawson stepped in carefully with Jasmine Carter following him behind. He stopped a few feet away from the bed while Jasmine stayed close to the IV stand. Then she looked at Lawson “You are overseeing this case?”, Margaret asked not waiting for his greetings.“Yes I am”, Dr. Richard Lawson answered.“Then explain the delay”,she said with an increased tone.Lawson didn't react to the tone.“ There is no delay. There is recovery”. Margaret's eyes narrowed slightly. “That is not the same thing”“It is in medicine“. Lawson replied evenly.Harrison spoke before it escalated fu

Chapter: CHAPTER FOUR: THE DIFFICULT PATIENT Sound didn’t travel the same way here. Conversations along the corridor to the private wings were lower. Movements were more deliberate. Even the lighting felt different;softer, intentional, expensive. At the far end,two men stood outside room 301 in suits and earpieces. The black glasses on their eyes and lack of smiles on their faces made them look unapproachable. These were not the kind of people you mess with. It was clear they weren't hospital staff. They didn't move when she approached.“Staff only”, one of the men said. She raised up her badge, “Room 301” she said as she showed them the front page of the file. One of them gave a short nod while the other stepped aside.Jasmine let out a short breath and stepped in fully, closing the door behind her. The looks of the man lying awake on the bed was enough to scare anyone who enters the room. “What kind of man can be allergic to smiling”.She muttered within herself. “Good Morning Mr Harrison, I'm Nurse Jasmine Carter”.He loo

Chapter: CHAPTER THREE: SOMEONE WHO WON'T BREAKJasmine's eyes snapped open as the shrill ring from her phone invaded her slumber. She stretched her hands towards the table, grabbing her phone. “Who is it at this hour? “ Jasmine muttered, her thumb sliding to answer. “Good morning sis”, Jasper's voice said from the other end. Morning kiddo, is everything okay?, Jasmine asked. “Not really sis, my school fees would be due next week and the landlord came to ask for his rent yesterday”, he replied. “I didn't forget. Jasmine said, now fully sitting on her bed. Sleep had left her eyes."How is mummy?” she added. “She went to get water in the kitchen”, her brother said.Okay, tell her I would call her later and be a good boy,she finally said.“Okay sis, thank you. I love you” . “ I love you too kiddo”, jasmine replied. The screen lit up as soon as the call ended; 5:30 am. “But I had barely slept”, she said loudly. She stretched herself and standing up she muttered” If I don't do it,who will? So I'm doing it”. By 7:30 am ,Jasm

Chapter: CHAPTER TWO: BREAK THE BODY, NOT THE MAN.Manhattan never truly slept, but there were moments, brief ones when the chaos thinned just enough to create the illusion of calm. The rain had barely stopped falling that evening. Harrison Cole sat in the backseat of his black SUV, one arm resting against the leather, the other holding his phone. His expression was neutral and unreadable. The kind that didn’t invite conversation nor require it.“Take Park Avenue,” he said without looking up.“Yes, sir,” the driver replied. The car moved smoothly through the street, headlights cutting through the dim glow of the city. Buildings passed in clean lines. Traffic lights changed on schedule. The phone buzzed in his hand “Ethan Blake”.Harrison stared at the name for a second then answered.Good evening Mr Harrison; Ethan's voice came from the phone “Handle it.” Harrison said without responding to the greeting and in a commanding tone. The type that could throw one off balance. On the other end, Ethan’s voice came calm. “We’re reviewing th

Chapter: CHAPTER ONE: STILLNESS BEFORE THE SHIFTShe saw him first by the frozen foods, pushing a cart like he’d never walked out of her life. “Please,” the words came out raw, stripped of everything but panicked. “Don’t leave me. Not now. We can build this,we’ve been building this. You said you’d always be by my side. Didn’t you say that?”He wouldn’t meet her eyes. The man who’d promised her forever shifted his weight, muttered something about being late, and walked past her.She watched him drive off through the supermarket parking lot, taillights bleeding red into the dusk. And then there was no sound. Just the hollow ringing in her chest. The man who’d sworn to stay was gone. And with him went the part of her that never believed again. Never again, she thought. Not any man. Not love. Not trust. Her eyes snapped open, the room was black,It had all been a dream. The power hadn’t gone out, it had been cut. Jasmine Carter knew before she even opened her eyes. The silence gave it away. The kind that settled too neatly and compl
