The Alpha’s Fated Mutt
As a servant inside Moonstone Castle, Mara Silverwane made sure to do everything right to survive. After all, it was the only option she had as a wolfless mutt from the most powerful bloodline of werewolves.
Each day she made sure her white hair was dyed black and that she never drew any attention to herself. She knew exactly what would happen if her hair was revealed; a death sentence. But hiding under the Royal’s noses was still simpler than always being on the run.
But one fateful day, a mindless accident exposes her long kept secret and immediately causes a devastating, yet beautiful landslide of events to occur.
Including the reveal of a shocking truth that no one thought was possible.
The King, Alpha Vaylor Nox, who was said to be a fateless wolf, has now found his fated mate.
It has been Mara all along, and she was finally within his reach.
Except, he’s already bonded to his torturous, pregnant Queen. So, the King chooses to do what werewolves rarely ever do; He rejects Mara as his fated mate and banishes her.
But with each passing moment away from him clawing at her soul, Mara is forced to decide if she should risk death to go back to him or if she’s better off staying safely away, living out the rest of her life feeling incomplete.

Chapter: 18. BrothersAlpha Vaylor's POVBefore Mara's AttackDarren looked at me with a smug smirk as he approached me upon his gold-armored black stallion with his red cape blowing in the wind. He was trotting down the dirt path through crowds of people just outside of Valehelm’s walls, two guards trailing close behind him as I requested. But I knew full well the meaning behind his wretched smile, but without a confession, a smirk is not enough to sentence my own brother to death, let alone the head of my guard. Though the Alpha side of me wishes to rip his head off and put it on a stake like the others who dared to ever challenge me. I crossed my arms as I leaned against the side of the stables, the hood of my dark brown cloak covering my now lightened hair. He didn’t know I’d be waiting for him; I rarely ever leave the castle nowadays. But despite me being disguised as a peasant and my black hair now brown, he recognized me almost immediately. Luckily, he was the only one to easily do so. Though, I co

Chapter: 17. Taking a Stand“Please, don’t kill me,” I pushed the rest of the remaining wind out from my lungs just to get the few words out; but it wasn’t much at all and I was nearly mute. I could barely tell if I had even said anything, but despite that, I was hoping they heard me. I didn’t choose to be here! I would’ve much rather gone with Darren on his journey to get Rowen, but I was too much of a risk to go; he didn’t have to say it. Instead of leaving me alone, I felt the door begin to push against my body without hesitation, and they only continued to push more, rolling my body carelessly along with it against the cold floor. But as my attacker started getting closer to smashing me between the door and the small decorative wooden table against the wall, I knew I only had a split second to make a decision. I gulped before I inhaled as deep as I could. I needed to fight, and I knew it would be far from easy. This person was a werewolf, their strength beyond any human capabilities as they teased my l

Chapter: 16. The KnockingI don’t remember falling asleep, or how long I’d been sleeping, so when I was awakened by banging at my bedroom door, I was extremely disoriented and quite frankly, startled. Though, I turned over in my sheets to peer out of the balcony windows to try and get a hint to how long exactly I'd been unconscious. But the fact that I could hardly see the mural of crows upon them, it was enough to say I had at least slept past sundown, and the capital was settling down now. I hastily sat up, my blankets flying from my chest and falling over my legs as my heart raced. Who could be bothering us? I reached out to grab him, but my hand fell flat upon the mattress beside me, only landing upon the ripped piece of cloth. He was gone, but I grabbed it to be cautious, clutching it in my left hand with a white-knuckled grip. Despite the loud banging continuing and even beginning to shake my door with their urgency, I instead bolted from bed to look for my prince. But it only took me doing a quick

Chapter: 15. Not a Promise“I demand you to remove your armor at once!” I tried my best to be assertive, but even I could hear my voice crack as it was overcome with my lack of confidence. My mind knew Darren is my mate, my future spouse, the future father of my pups, but I also couldn’t get past the fact I’ve been a servant for the Kingdom, for the Nox family, for over a decade. A servant doesn’t command any noble, let alone a prince. If this had been any other circumstance, I’d be beheaded for demanding such a thing. Darren opened his mouth as a smirk started to creep upon his face, but before he could say anything I repeated myself, shutting him up quickly. I was a bit more forceful this time though since his reaction reassured me I would be alright, leaving no fear remaining. “Take your armor off now or I’ll resort to using force!” I felt my own lips form a sultry smile as I crossed my arms against my breasts. “As you wish, my lady.” My prince kept his eyes on me as he immediately removed his arm gua

Chapter: 14. Always Second“My brother’s mocking me, it’s more obvious than the damn sun being yellow...” Darren was pacing about by the door inside our room. The bite wounds on his neck were already nearly healed from his abilities when just a few hours prior they were seeping blood and making me worry for him! Now it was if the fight hadn't happened at all and he was only scratched by a scrawny cat instead. He was in his own suit of black and red armor after being forced to dress himself, though he had a dark red cape hanging from his shoulders. A small requirement to being allowed inside the room with me per the Royals. He looked quite dashing and all the more sinisterly noble than before his shift. Something about looking so bad made him look so good, and I bit my lip as he continued; my legs crossed over the other as I sat upon the bed. “You understand what this means, right?” He stopped pacing as he turned to stare at me, almost drilling me with his eyes as he waited for my answer. My wolf instincts had

Chapter: 13. TogetherAs we continued to stand in the destroyed throne room, my heart started to flood with lust for my new mate. Saving me while risking his life? I’ve been paired with a true knight. If even I had to wait for 5 years till our next encounter, at least we could have the next few hours together. I gently pulled on his arm so he would look down at me, and he swiftly did, ignoring his brother once more as he continued on about expectations of a knight. “Yes, Ms. Nox?” Darren had a sideways smirk on his face, but it only made me giggle with delight as I felt my cheeks get redder. “Can we get away from here now?” I whispered, hoping only he heard me. I lowered my voice even more anyways, covering the side of my mouth as I spoke, “I’d like to repay you for saving me before we have to be apart...” My heart felt so light, tickling my chest as it started to beat as fast as a hummingbird’s within the clutches of my ribs. I was fearful he’d reject my offer, given his duties, but I was hopeful on

The Alpha's Ugly Muse
I never thought fairy tales could actually be real.
But my belief that they weren't quickly came crashing down when I, Katherine Cain, met a man completely opposite of me; Virgo Dacien.
You see, half of my face is a birthmark, making me look extremely different from everyone- ugly, as everyone preferred to say.
Virgo on the other hand? His hair was black as night, his eyes the lightest shade of blue, with a chiseled, stubble covered jaw, and the most perfect teeth i'd ever seen.
And he was outrageously strong..... and terrifyingly warm.
Though, I can't complain much. His strength saved me from plummeting to my death and his heat warmed me from a chilled breeze.
But little did I know, Virgo was much more than a man, but a beast, and he was about to drag me into a fantasy world filled with mythical fights, a rejected luna, and a target being placed on my back that everyone, myth and reality alike, wanted to take a shot at at any given chance.
Will he be able to save me?

Chapter: Scarlett“I’m sorry about that,” He sheepishly apologized to me as he waited for me to get into the driver’s seat to close the door of my small, compact red car after me. I scrunched my brow in confusion, turning my car on and rolling the window down to question him. “Sorry? For what?” “I shouldn’t have acted like that back there,” he continued, rubbing the back of his neck in nervousness. “It’s just-” “It’s okay,” I smiled, cutting him off gently. “You’re the only one that has ever really stuck up for me before. I should be the one apologizing for making you feel like you had to do that.” Virgo bent down to lean on my door, his smile contagious, “I’m happy I got to meet you, but I have some business to attend to now.” Hiding the fact my heart dropped with his goodbye, I nodded with a smile, unable to say anything- because the only thing to say was goodbye back, and I honestly didn’t want to. Virgo gave my car a couple taps as he straightened up, backing away from the car as my queue to

Chapter: EnjoyIt ended up taking us an hour and a half to reach my little red car. Surprisingly, it was still the only car parked outside of the dense woods, but I tried to ignore it. He seemed somewhat sporty, so I assumed he may have walked. After a short drive, we arrived at a somewhat-popular mom-and-pop 50’s style restaurant before parking and nearly rushing inside. Our stomachs had become in sync with demanding food, and upon entering we had unanimously chosen a table in the far back of the restaurant. The 50’s feel to it made it feel like walking through a time machine; and no matter how many times I walked through the front door, it never ceased to amaze me. But, almost as soon as we sat down and placed our orders, Virgo excused himself to go to the bathroom. At first, I thought nothing of it, but after our food had arrived and I received a refill on my drink, he still hadn’t come back and I had already begun to fill with embarrassed dread. ‘Of course,’ I slumped in my seat, ‘it was t

Chapter: OddVirgo Dacien. He’s a bit odd, and that’s a lot coming from someone like me. As we began walking back towards where my tiny, red, compact car was parked, which was no short stroll either, the strange man didn’t seem bothered in the slightest. Though I couldn’t help but think of the slightest chance his prettiness was the lure to something sinister; After all, if the murderer isn’t masked, then it was always one of the best-looking people in a horror movie who was the one stabbing everyone. “If I wanted to kill you,” he broke the silence, as if he were reading my mind, “what would’ve been the purpose of saving you in the first place?” I looked up at him, his tall stature towering over my short, 5’4 frame, just as he looked down at me, our eyes meeting. I instantly blushed, looking away as my face turned red. “I’m sorry,” I muttered softly. Why am I apologizing for simply looking at him? “Sorry?” He huffed, “you don’t need to apologize; but what made you want to join the fish?” I

Chapter: KatherineI never thought fairytales could be real. To believe in them would’ve been considered childish. But when I found out they were more than just real, and I was suddenly sucked into one, it took me a long time to realize I was finally free.... ----------- I’m ugly. I’ll admit it. At least that’s what everyone I’ve ever encountered made me feel. My mother sent me to foster care when I was 10, my dad having left before I had a chance to even remember his face outside of old photos; and I truly believe that my mother only waited until I was 10 because she couldn’t find someone to take me sooner. I also have no siblings because my parents, after seeing me, didn’t want to have any more hideous children. My parents are perfect in every way, and to produce a child like me? They believed they were cursed. To look good and to have ugly children. The ultimate conundrum to them. So, my mother got her uterus removed, and I'm sure her sperm donor cot a vasectomy. And that’s just my family.
