I came back, just to behold the news that Scarlet wasn’t around, it shouldn’t be much of a big deal, since the car issued to her was still packed in the garage, she couldn’t have gone somewhere far, but then she disobeyed me, by leaving without taking a guard.

She wouldn’t leave without a guard if she wanted me to know where she was going, so I patiently waited for her arrival. Each second passed felt like a tick, in a time bomb, I could feel the agitation rising to the sky, and my mind surfed through endless possibilities of her whereabouts.

I stood at the window when I heard the sound of a car, then watched her climb down a taxi. She held an impeccable smile, which grew dim with each stride towards the house. I could tell she knew how savage the outcome of her disobedience would be, as she searched the environment before proceeding further.
