Chapter 6

I run as fast as I can, when I reached the car I saw the guy was running behind me, I quickly opened the door, and sat inside the car.  "DRIVE" I  yelled at top of my lungs, Kova quickly started to drive. Kova took a U-turn as in front was the construction site. The boy was running fast, DAMN HE runs LIKE LIGHT.

"DRIVE FAST KOVA" I yelled again. Kova pushed the accelerator and drove away.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS B@TCH" I heard the boy scream. when I looked out I saw we are far away from the beach and at that time I breathe in relief, the only sound in the car was our heavy breathing.

Third Pov

The heavy atmosphere in the car, the hand gripping tight on the string wheel, the sweat on their forehead, what did they just do?, How did they do it? how suddenly things turn like this? there was a heavy silence between kova and Vanessa. Kova took a deep breath and looked at Vanessa, who looked at him.

"YOU ARE IDIOT" Kova yelled at top of his lungs, "STUPID B@TCH, WHY YOU HAVE TO THAT TO HIS CAR, YOU NESSA"

"STOP YELLING AT ME, HE SAID SO MANY RUDE STUFF, KOVA, NOT MY FAULT" Vanessa yelled.

"STILL, AND WHAT DRAMA YOU created  WITH THAT screwdriver, I THOUGHT YOU ARE GOING TO MURDER HIM, AND I WAS THINKING WHERE WE ARE GOING TO BURIED HIM?, HOW WILL WE TAKE HIS BODY IN THE CAR?, HE MUST BE HEAVY" Kova yelled again while taking a left.

"WE BOTH HAVE PICKED HIM UP, YOU WITH HIS HANDS AND ME WITH HIS LEGS AND BOOM IN THE CAR" Vanessa yelled back, "or we would kidnap him and ask for money"

"Oh, that last one was good tho" Kova said in a normal tone.

"I know," Vanessa said.

"You know I was ready to see you in the headline of a newspaper, "17-YEAR-OLD MURDERED A BOY WHO DENIED TO PAY FOR CAR DAMAGE WITH A YELLOW SCREWDRIVER THAT SHE FOUND NEAR THE CONSTRUCTION SITE," kova said which made Vanessa chucked a bit.

"With her partner who helped her run away," Vanessa said that making kova chucked.

"Damn cause of you nessa I'm going to be in a big hell of trouble that you create and which I was not even a part of," Kova said.

"Don't worry I'll darg you wherever I go, even in hell" Vanessa said to kova who was looking at her, winking at him.

"Yeah cause thanks to you God won't grant me heaven, so the only place we have is hell, is to have  Tea with daddy lucifer you know," Kova said which made Vanessa laugh, seeing Vanessa kova started to help also.

"Oh, daddy Luc-" Vanessa was laughing hard her face red.

"Okay now stop laughing, and think about charlie's car dude," Kova said while parking the car on the side of the road, remembering the car accident Vanessa stopped laughing.

"Why do you remind me of the car?" Vanessa said looking toward kova with an irritating tone

"Cause I couldn't see your happy FACE," Kova said with a tight smile while unbuckling his seatbelt, opening the door, and getting out of the car, Vanessa did the same thing and walked out of the car, they saw the right door of the car that had the scratch.

"What are we going to do now? we can't this car with that scratch to charlie he will kill us" Vanessa said and hit the tire.

"Well, we can't go to the near garage thanks to your cupid FAILED matchmaking" kova sighed.

"Well it wasn't my fault tho" Vanessa said in a low tone with a pout.

"Well like I don't know right," Kova said.

"whatever" Vanessa spoke. Kova sighed and removed his phone from his jacket pocket and started to type something on his, "What are you doing ko?"

"Well we can't stand here for an entire day looking at this search, we have to take this car to a garage, remember we have to give charlie this car by evening, so I'm reaching the garage near me on g****e" Kova explained while scrolling on his phone and Vanessa was just standing and looking at him, "Well there is one name CAR-WASHING-ROBO nearby, well let's go there" kova and Vanessa walked and settled in the car while bucking up their seatbelt.

"From when you become this smart KO?" Vaness asked.

"Well one of us needs to be smart in a situation like this right, dumb" Kova said while starting the engine giving Vanessa a sarcastic eye that shuts her mouth.

After driving for 10 minutes, they saw a huge board with the color combination of red and yellow which have the words, CAR-WASHING-ROBO, at the entrance there was a robot holding a sign that says 'Wash the dust of your daily life, start with your car'. Kova parked the car, near the entrance, before they both step out of the car.

"wash the dust of your daily life, start with your car, good quotes" Kova read the sign.

"Well, how to wash the dust from the car, when the car is the reason that you won't have life at the end of the day," Vanessa said while folding her arms.

"Looking like someone reading dark academic quotes a lot,"  Kova said, looking at Vanessa.

"Na, experiencing it," Vanessa said in a cool tone.

"come on, let's talk to the manager, " Kova said to which Vanessa nodded, they both walked inside the garage, where they saw a lady with blonde hair, fashion sense that speaks confidence looks like in her twenty's, " Damn she's hot" Kova walked toward her table and knock the table a bit to have her attention when she looked up her blue ocean eyes widened.

"Oh good afternoon sir, how many I help" Her voice was sweet and rough. DAMMIT HER VOICE. kova thought.

"We had a little accident and our car is damaged by a huge scratch, we just want to get it repaired quickly as we want it by evening" Kova explained.

"Oh well, it depends on the scratch how deep it is and how much time it will take" The girl explained and kova nodded, " Michael please check the sir's car and let me know".

"Oh please call me kova," Kova said.

"Oh kova, unique name tho, my name is ava" The girl introduces her name, ava looked at kova who was looking fine as hell, DAMN HANDSOME BOY.

"I know," Kova said, that shooked ava, DID I SAY THAT LOUD? ava thought, "everyone says that my name is unique" Kova smiled at Ava that sighed in relief, Michela came back after looking at the car.

"It's clear-coats scratch," Micheal said to which ava nodded, which made kova sigh in relief.

"Thank god" Kova said

"What that's?" Vanessa who was standing behind kova asked.

"The thin layer of clear coat that protects the car paint is scratched" kova explained.

"Yep and it's easy to repair It will only take an hour," Ava said.

"How much it will cost tho?" Vanessa asked.

"15-20 dollars," Ava said.

"Damn we are saved," Vanessa said and beareth in relief, "Please start the repair" Ava nodded.

"Micheal take the car," Ava said to that Michael guy, to which he nodded, he took the key from kova and parked the car in the garage repair area.

It was evening time, the sun was setting spreading the wings of red and orange light in the sky, it was beautiful, kova and Vanessa were driving charlie's car after repair back to comic-con where charlie was waiting for them, it's already 7. They arrived near the store and saw charlie waiting outside, they parked the car beside the store, stepped out of the car, and walked toward charlie.

"It's 7 already," Charlie said, kova gave the key back to charlie, "I hope no scratch"

"Nope, it's is back like new" Vanessa said, charlie went near his car to see if everything is good.

"We should tell him," Kova said in a low voice which made Vanessa look at him in disbelief.

"No, we can't," Vanessa said, "Well charlie we are going now okay".

"Okay the car is good, goodnight"

"Goodnight," Kova and Vanessa said, they both started to walk home.

"Damn what a day," Kova said with his hands in his jacket.

"Well one good thing, we got the ticket," Vanessa said which made kova smile bright.

"Hell yeah, harry potter theatre show, btw why were you smirking back at the beach?" Kova asked. when Vanessa remember it, she started to giggle, "Why are you giggling?"

"Well remember that girl, Jonathan wants me to hook him up with?" Vanessa asked to which kova nodded, "She's into girls". Vanessa chucked a bit after remembering but she got no response from kova, so she looks to her left to see kova shocked face.

"What?"  Kova yelled/, "Really nessa"

"Yeah" Vanessa replied, " Well after she told me this, I was like damn now how will I get that ticket, but then she told me she will help me to get that ticket but-"

"BUT-?" kova asked.

"I have to go out with her" Vanessa said and again kova had a shocked face.

"Out with her? like a date?" Kova ask.

"You ask a lot of questions kova," Vanessa said and walked a little fast.

"And I need the answer to all my question,"  Kova said and walked beside Vanessa, putting an arm around her shoulder, "Damn indeed it was a weird day"

"Well, it was," Vanessa said.

"well you got a date for yourself, nessa" Kova teased Vanessa who now pushed his shoulder and started to walk fast, "Hey wait for me and stop blushing".

"walk fast and I'm not blushing," Vanessa said.
