That night, Eve brought Marion to the forest to bury her. She was sobbing and the sound that came from her lips tore Khalid, Ariadne, and Damien’s hearts. The same sadness can be seen in Khalid’s eyes. Even though he tries to stand still and be brave, his eyes were red, and tears pool inside them. Damien too shares the same emotion they all have. Eve was pouring a jug of water with daisies and what is left of Marion’s feathers she could find in the kitchen.
Some of it was thrown out by the cooks. Her left cheek was swollen and painful to touch and a cut formed on her lips from Adam’s wrath. Marion’s grave is now frozen solid, just like how every fallen Zhatiera would be buried.

As soon as Eve woken up, she felt pain all over her body. Her stomach still aches and her dress was soaked with her sweat. Her head was pounding painfully.
