CHAPTER 19 : VULNERABLE

At the castle wall, Eve stood next to Ariadne and Damien stands on the other side. It was only the four of them including Ariadne’s daughter, Zara whose tears has soak her whole cheeks. Eve’s eyes too red and puffy. She had no more tears but sadness was apparent on her face.

Khalid who stands in front of her was holding a huge sack fill with his things. He wore his silver attire in which he had once used when he came to Dzhimara. He was going home after all. He had a face void of any expression. Not anger or sadness. Concern perhaps but for his beloved queen. His bestest friend and his first love.
