For the next two hours that pass, I lay on Chloe’s bed coiled into a ball and the only sound heard are the small whimpers and sobbing sound I make. Three weeks later -> The engagement party went differently from how William earlier wanted it to be. I discouraged him from making it a surprise party, reminding him just how much Ashley hated surprises. I also told him her favourite colour was purple and would always pick a lace fabric over a silk fabric any day. At first, William was sceptical about my wanting to help, but I shrugged it off and told him it was no big deal and, honestly, it wasn’t. My eyes slowly open at the continuous shaking of my body and as my vision clears, I realise that I’m in William’s arms and the continuous shaking is because he’s running with me and the reason I do not know. All the way back home, I ponder on the event that had taken place between Arthur and William in the hospital and I wonder what the big secret William and Arthur share and for the past twenty minutes I’ve been quiet just thinking. After we left the house, Seth kissed Chloe goodbye and went for lectures while Liam, Chloe and I make the trip to the wedding gown shopping plaza to look for the perfect gown for tomorrow’s wedding. As I arrive home, I make my way to my room and pull my bag out, and stuff the things I haven’t yet taken into it. I had packed little because I planned on returning for holiday, but after everything I’ve discovered today, I don’t think I ever will come back. I go into my drawer and pick all the clothes out, leaving behind only those clothes William bought for me and I also do the same with my shoes and bag. Leaving would be the best thing for me and I’m pretty sure of him since he’s hurt me as no one has.
