CHAPTER THREE

The women inside the cave flinched and whimpered when one of the rogues entered carrying a large tray with foods on it. He carelessly put it on the ground and harshly cupped the woman's face in front of him. He smiled maliciously, licked his lips and stared at the woman's body while forcefully massaging her breast. The poor woman handcuffed by a silver in her hands, trembled in fear. A silver can harm and restraint a werewolf. It won't easily heal if the werewolf is wounded by it.

"Brody, what the fvck are you doing?" Brody's smile drop when he saw Lincoln with Tres on the cave's entrance. He pulled his hands away from the woman's breast and smiled showing his black teeth. Lincoln's eyes squinted. He walked towards him and smacked Brody's head.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Don’t fvcking touch the women!" he angrily said. "Those nasty vampires wants them untouched and clean, Brody. Do you want Thanatos to punish us!?" he added. Brody shook his head. Thanatos will have his head

if he knew this happened again but he couldn't stop. The last time he tasted one of the woman they kidnapped was a month ago. He's itching for a release. Thanatos Lionheart is the boss of the rogue organization that delivers women to vampires and provides services to werewolves who wants their Alphas dead. You don't want to cross path with him. Brody hurriedly left the cave.

"Stupid mutt," Lincoln said. He started counting the women to make sure Brody didn't kill a single one. Eleven. A total of eleven women. One particular woman caught his eyes, he didn't remember bringing her here. The woman wore ragged clothes and is sitting quietly in the corner holding a golden necklace in her hands.

"Tres, who is she? I don't remember bringing her with us," Lincoln asked the man next to him. Tres shrugged his shoulder. They must have been picked her up on the way here. Lincoln sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. He walked towards the woman and examined her. His face contorted.

"Witch," he disgustedly said.

--

Two teams led by Travis and Blake swiftly ran through the forest until they found tahuja cave. Travis and Blake halted and all the werewolves followed. Blake nodded his head to Travis. Travis quickly shifted back to his human form to secure the premises. He silently surveyed the area and went back to Blake.

"I saw fifteen," he said. Blake's eyes darkened. They turned their heads when they heard buzzing and clattering sound of the rogues. A woman was being pulled out of the cave. The rogue grabbed her by the hair slowly dragging her. She didn’t even flinched. She just blanky stared at the sky bearing no emotion at all. The rogue forcefully pushed her to the ground.

“Kill her,” he ordered. Travis’ jaw clenched. They positioned the woman's head onto the  plank of a wood and the rogue took out his knife out of his pocket. He was about to stab her in the heart.

“Don’t,” Blake said but Travis didn’t listen. In a swift move, he’s already in front of the rogue and snapped his neck.

“Enemies!” The rogue shouted alerting the other rogues. Travis looked back and saw Blake and the warriors fast approaching. He carried the woman on his arms and put her into safety.

“Are you okay?” he asked. He'll have to face the consequences of not following the instructions of his Alpha but the women's safety comes first. The woman looked at him, her eyes glowed. She cupped his face, her hands are shaking, this is the face of her lover that she longed to see. Her eyes began to water, hot liquid fell in her ragged clothes. She misses him so much.

“Lleandro,” she uttered. Travis looked at her confusingly but before he could question her, Tres attacked him from behind causing him to roll on the ground. Tres snarled at him, challenging the wolf that's inside him.

“Stay here,” he said and shifted to his wolf form. Bones cracking and snapping, a cream colored wolf landed on all fours. They started encircling around each other. Tres was the first one to attack, he bared his teeth at Travis and pounced at him. Travis fought back and bit Tres’ shoulder. Tres retreated to gain his balance but Travis’ didn’t let him have that chance. He jumped at him and and once again bit him on his shoulder. Tres tried to pry him off but Travis’ is too strong. He looked at his eyes and bit his neck real hard. Tres’ lifeless body fell on the ground. Travis’ howled, the beta wolf inside him rejoice. He glanced at the woman who is intently staring at him. He ran to where Blake and the rest of the warriors are.

Gnashing and snarling can be heard all over the place as the rogues and Blake's warriors clashed. Blake's wolf overwhelmed the rogues. Others slowly backed away from the fight.

"Fvcking Alpha," Lincoln cursed. Thanatos will surely grind him to pieces. They planned the kidnapping for weeks but these fvcking werewolves ruined it. He can't possibly kill him, not without their boss. He retreated to the woods and never looked back.

Blake howled for victory and he howled once again for the fallen warriors who fought bravely at the face of enemies. He quickly changed back to his human form and put his clothes on. He entered the cave and found the women whimpering in fear.

"You are safe now," he announced. The women started crying, glad because it's finally over, glad that they're still alive and breathing and glad because they can finally go home to their families. The warriors started uncuffing the women when Travis entered the cave.

"Do you know what you've done?" Blake asked, his eyes blazing in anger. Travis remained silent and bowed his head. "I knew you did it to save the woman but what if you failed? I don't want to fvcking lose a beta and a friend, Travis." Blake added while clenching his jaw. Travis quickly apologized. He knew it was his fault. He didn't listen to him but he needs to do that.

"Where's the woman?" Blake asked. "I left her on a tree. That woman is pretty thin, it looks like she's been starved for days," Travis said. He pitied the woman he just saved. The way she stared blankly at the sky earlier caught his attention. It's lifeless, like she wanted to be killed to end her misery.

"She's not with us. They found her and picked her up." One of the prisoner said. "Take her and let's go back to Linux pack," Blake said . Travis ordered the pack warrior to fetch the woman he left. He followed Blake closely. It's maybe their win today but looking back, they lost some precious life of warriors they brought.
