CHAPTER LXV: CONFRONTATIONS

The Major was sitting silently in the limo with the Detective as he listened intently to the recording that he received on his phone via a pair of wired earphones. Unfortunately, he still can't get the hang of Bluetooth earplugs so he's happy with his "Jurassic" setup.

Like the longtime friend who he's riding with, they follow the old adage "If it's not broke don't fix it" so they are quite content to just stick with what they're familiar with.

And the women he could hear in the recording are very familiar females that were both close to her heart. They are, after all, family. The thing is, this is the kind of information that he cannot just release to just anyone within his circle of close contacts or even trusted family members.

Yes, The Detective can definitely listen to this but not the last member of the Trinity. For now, he needs to be kept unaware of this. No telling what that loose cannon would do if he found out about this fact.
