"I'm glad to finally meet you, Detective Carlos. My husband has told me so much about you."

"I can very well say the same about you, Madame. Although the Major has been quite inadequate in describing how lovely you are. And please, you can call me Sarge or Marc."

"Of course, and I am quite flattered, Sarge. Please, feel free to have breakfast. Coffee or tea, perhaps. We also have chocolate, fruit juice, or milk if you prefer any those."

"Is that Barako coffee? Or Benguet?"

"Oh, a coffee connoisseur. I am truly impressed. And it's the latter, Sarge."

"Well then, I will indeed have some. Thank you."

"My lovely wife, I do realize you really want to join us as we work here but I'm afraid it involves topics that you find unfavorable and even unsavory."

"Admittedly, that thought has come to mind. As I said, I prefer to leave the running of the Midnight Resort to you and my son while I remain a figurehead. So yes, I will take my leave later and do my work elsewhere in the house."
