Mom!? [1]

With the words that they have something to discuss on, the unknown man left the room with his son. Seeing the weird people— that's what Sihyeon claimed them to be in her mind— leave caused relief to spread within her.

Such a situation gave rise to slight panic at her. Nevertheless, brushing back all of the pessimistic thoughts, she decided upon getting up from the bed to take a look outside.

Min Sihyeon had never been to the V.I.P ward, resulting her in having limited clue on how to call the doctors at here.

However, before she was able to move her leg slightly, a sharp pain went through it, and instantly, a wince escaped her mouth.

Without wasting a second further, she removed the blanket off of her leg, and the view of her right leg being wrapped around a bandage came to her..

Maybe because of the sudden overwhelming situation, she had overlooked this. When she touched her forehead, she felt a bandage over it as well, and as a tightness was there within her stomach, she lifted her shirt tightly. That part of her too was encased by a bandage.

"How in the world did I get hurt so badly? Wasn't I basically sleeping on my bed? Could it be that something had happened in the house when I was asleep?" Sihyeon mumbled to herself.

Maybe because of her energetic personality, her being unable to move irritated her more than it should have, and her inability to walk was enough to ruin her mood.

Staying out at one place was never something that Sihyeon enjoyed, and now faced with this situation, being handicapped gave her serious troubles.

However, regardless of how hard she hoped to get off of the bed, this matter was not something that could be taken care of with a wish, and therefore, she decided to rest upon the bed.

Ten minutes of lying on the phone alone was enough to bore her and make her restless. Staring at the clock before her, she watched its hand move and count along with it.

Other than this, there was nothing in this room that kept her entertained although the clock was doing a poor job at keeping her interested.

At one point, Sihyeon decided to take a small nap in order to get rid of her boredom, but the want to know about the situation did not make that possible for her.

Recalling the man's words on how he will be returning, she found herself waiting for him for it appeared that currently he was her only source of information.

Around an hour had passed, and that entire hour went by miserably for Sihyeon. Hearing the door open, Sihyeon did not waste a second before turning her attention at the door while wearing a bright smile on her face.

The boy from before ran into the room energetically, and stopping before Sihyeon, he grabbed on to her hand that peeked out of the blanket.

"Mom!" he cheerfully exclaimed.

'Not this again!'

"Little Kid, I am not your mom; call me 'older sister', alright?" she vocalised— her eyes showing her desperation.

"You're sick, right? That's why, dad said that you will be muddled now, but don't worry, dad will make sure you get well," Minjoon voiced out.

If it was not for the innocence in the boy's tone, Sihyeon would have most definitely gotten angry at the five year old. Her leg was truly an obstacle for her or else she would have instantly run away from this weird situation.

"Where is your dad?" she questioned.

"Mom, are you missing dad?" he asked, blinking his eyes at Sihyeon. The boy's cuteness for sure would have made her squeal if it was not for this confusing situation.

"No, it is not that, Little Kid; it's just this 'older sister' is confused about everything and needs an answer," she vocalised, putting emphasis on the word 'noona'.

"Mom, why do you keep on addressing yourself as 'older sister'? Isn't that weird?" he questioned and then added, "You have really changed, just like dad said."
