Finally permitted [2]

Wanting to move around the place by herself, Min Sihyeon dismissed the maid. Even though it was tough for her to control the wheelchair, she wanted to have a little amount of freedom.

However, with the Maid barely being a metre away from her, she doubt that she was able to feel that. Being closely monitored like this wasn't her cup of tea, but it couldn't be helped.

Her handicapped self was to be blamed.

But only two more weeks, and then she would be able to do whatever she wanted. That's when, she will show them how someone like her couldn't be easily suppressed.

There was no way her mother called her definition of trouble without a reason.

The fresh of the flower floated into her rose, causing a smile to form on her face. Since her vocabulary when it came to flowers wasn't that updated, there were only that she was able to name.

As she was about to move to the rose bushes, she noticed the old man, who was currently trimming them. Seeing the wide smile— which caused wrinkles to form beside his eyes— surprised her.

He probably seemed to be the most human-like worker at here; the others seemed to resemble emotionless robots.

"Do you take care of this garden on your own?" she questioned.

Her voice appeared to catch the man off guard for his eyes widened while he turned back. Facing her, he stopped his work from earlier.

After a small bow, he spoke out, "Mistress, yes, I am the gardener here, Jung Minseok."

She clapped both of her hands together and stated, "That's amazing, Mr. Jung! This entire garden is huge after all."

"Thank you, Mistress. I have a little help here and there. Taking care of this place is something I love, and I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to do this."

His eyes clearly displayed his sincere adoration, and the warmth he displayed made Sihyeon want to communicate with the man more.

"Although I wasn't able to go through the entire place, this is lovely. Thanks to you, Mr. Jung, I got am opportunity to see this place," she spoke out.

"You are giving me too much credit," he said, "This garden existed from a long time and holds the childhood of the Master. Even Master's father grew up at here."

"Wow," she said.

The conversation she had with the old man didn't go on for long, but she truly enjoyed it. It was the most normal chat she had ever since her arrival here.

Nonetheless, the old man made her crave for her own grandparents when he started to talk about his grandchildren, and this made her recall about her parents.

Having gone so many days without them made her miss them terribly. Although wearing a smile on her face she tried to not think about them, the heavy feeling in her chest did not ease this time around.

Tears formed at the corner of her eyes, and raising her hand, she wiped them away immediately. Crying and appearing was one of those things she believed did not suit her.

"What are you doing, Sihyeon? It will be fine. You can't cry that easily! Didn't Mr. Yoon say that Father and Mother is completely fine? Don't cry and hang on. I will meet them soon. Yeah!"

When it came to painful things, Sihyeon had a habit of locking them away at the deepest part of her mind so that they did not ruin her mood. This was something she did from a young age.

But tears streamed down her eyes continuously while her bottom lip quivered. She felt desperate to meet her family.

"Please make it so that I will be able to meet them soon."
