Wanting to move around the place by herself, Min Sihyeon dismissed the maid. Even though it was tough for her to control the wheelchair, she wanted to have a little amount of freedom.
However, with the Maid barely being a metre away from her, she doubt that she was able to feel that. Being closely monitored like this wasn't her cup of tea, but it couldn't be helped.
Her handicapped self was to be blamed.
But only two more weeks, and then she would be able to do whatever she wanted. That's when, she will show them how someone like her couldn't be easily suppressed.
There was no way her mother called her definition of trouble without a reason.
The fresh of the flower floated into her rose, causing a smile to form on her face. Since her vocabulary when it came to flowers wasn't that updated, there were only that she was able to name.
As she was about to move to the rose bushes, she noticed the old man, who was currently trimming them. Seeing the wide smile— which caused wrinkles to form beside his eyes— surprised her.
He probably seemed to be the most human-like worker at here; the others seemed to resemble emotionless robots.
"Do you take care of this garden on your own?" she questioned.
Her voice appeared to catch the man off guard for his eyes widened while he turned back. Facing her, he stopped his work from earlier.
After a small bow, he spoke out, "Mistress, yes, I am the gardener here, Jung Minseok."
She clapped both of her hands together and stated, "That's amazing, Mr. Jung! This entire garden is huge after all."
"Thank you, Mistress. I have a little help here and there. Taking care of this place is something I love, and I feel lucky to have gotten the chance to do this."
His eyes clearly displayed his sincere adoration, and the warmth he displayed made Sihyeon want to communicate with the man more.
"Although I wasn't able to go through the entire place, this is lovely. Thanks to you, Mr. Jung, I got am opportunity to see this place," she spoke out.
"You are giving me too much credit," he said, "This garden existed from a long time and holds the childhood of the Master. Even Master's father grew up at here."
"Wow," she said.

The conversation she had with the old man didn't go on for long, but she truly enjoyed it. It was the most normal chat she had ever since her arrival here.
Nonetheless, the old man made her crave for her own grandparents when he started to talk about his grandchildren, and this made her recall about her parents.
Having gone so many days without them made her miss them terribly. Although wearing a smile on her face she tried to not think about them, the heavy feeling in her chest did not ease this time around.
Tears formed at the corner of her eyes, and raising her hand, she wiped them away immediately. Crying and appearing was one of those things she believed did not suit her.
"What are you doing, Sihyeon? It will be fine. You can't cry that easily! Didn't Mr. Yoon say that Father and Mother is completely fine? Don't cry and hang on. I will meet them soon. Yeah!"
When it came to painful things, Sihyeon had a habit of locking them away at the deepest part of her mind so that they did not ruin her mood. This was something she did from a young age.
But tears streamed down her eyes continuously while her bottom lip quivered. She felt desperate to meet her family.
"Please make it so that I will be able to meet them soon."
"Did you cry?"Seeing that familiar face and hearing that voice the moment she opened her eyes managed to catch the girl off guard. A loud gasp escaped from her mouth. His question managed to catch her off guard. Was if that obvious? Even so, he didn't seem to be someone who would be concerned about it— although that was too judgemental on her part.Last night, despite of having no intentions of doing so, she ended up crying herself to sleep, and now that she had woken up, she felt completely refreshed. It was her sudden rush of emotions that caused her to act that way, and now that it was gone, she felt energetic again. She let out a chuckle and commented, "You are quite perceptive."Knowing that the man had no intentions of letting her meet her parents, she thought that it would make her seem too pathetic if she mentioned the reason. Mor
"Minjoon?" Sihyeon said.Confusion written on her face while she stared at the door. She noticed the small boy who opened the door and peeked his head in slightly. His eyes were downcast while he stared at the ground. As he shifted his weight from one foot to another, the corner of her lips curved to form a wide smile despite the surprise.Although the other day Hyunjin hinted that it would be better for them to not meet, today the small boy was in front of her door. Even if their meeting was short, Sihyeon was quite fond of the boy. That's why, she was genuinely excited to see him here."What are you doing standing by the door? Come in," she spoke out.As if being caught by surprise, he raised his head slowly, and his eyes were widened. The expression on his face almost caused her to squeal due to how adorable the little boy was.&
The boy did not disappoint her when he visited her the next day. Her mood instantly cheered up when she saw all the snacks he poured upon her bed from his bag.For a second, she thought that her caretaker was going to snatch them away. But instead of that happening, the caretaker was kind enough to keep them space and left the room.Without that stern lady present, Min Sihyeon felt as if she was less suffocated. All the snacks Kim Minjoon had bought would be able to full for days, and as for her diet, Sihyeon never cared for it in the first place. She preferred to think of that when it would actually turn serious.Being the simple girl she was, Sihyeon was easily pleased at the sight of the snacks, and all of her grievances were forgotten.Starting with the packet of chips, she opened it and started to eat it. Having this after ages felt like heaven like her, and in order t
Min Sihyeon was excited when she learned that she did not have to use that wheelchair. All those therapy worked, and finally, she was able to walk on her own.The fact that she wasn't handicapped anymore gave her great pleasure, and now, she wouldn't be obediently staying in the room anymore. She would be a fool to do!Long walking period was still tough for her, and Until she was fully recovered, she was ordered to stay inside her room. But not being someone who easily complied with other's words, she started to plan an escaped from this suffocating room.Even if she was closely monitored and would barely be able to accomplish anything, the excitement that came from running away was great. The corner of her lips curved to form a wide grin at the thought of the thrill that would come along with it.Taking in a deep breath, she stood
"Are you running away?" he asked. His question put her into a difficult spot and made her wonder whether or not should she be shameless. Finding it quite tempting to ignore his words, she was about to take a step forward."Do remember that there is nowhere you can hide from me," he added.'That's an amazing way to dampen my hopes.'The corner of her lips curved upwards while a smile formed on her face. With that, she turned to face him, and her face displayed how forced her expression."I really did not know that," she said— her tone filled with sarcasm.Although they barely had any contact, she found herself being accustomed to the man, and barely she felt intimidated by him any longer.Considering him to be an introvert, she believed that he had a hard time interacting with people, resulting him to act such way.
Certainly she had given the man her word that she was going to stay put in her room for a while, but seeing how he hadn't yet allowed to leave the room after a week caused her to treat his words like utter bullshit. Moreover, he had replaced her caretaker from before and replaced it with someone even more worse— she did not even think that was possible before meeting the woman.Being frustrated due to his actions, she decided to run away once again. Over this period of time, he did not even visit her or comfort her in any way.He was dreaming if he thought that she will be some obedient pet.Since he had brought her here, this was all his responsibility, and not being the one to be considerate, she was determined to leave the room.As for what he had fed her about her safety, she wanted him to take care of it by himself since he was all that capable.
His question had managed to render her speechless, and as if seeming like a child who was being scolded, she fidgeted with her fingers. After a couple of seconds, she said, "Thank you. I will try to be more careful in the future."She also wanted to mention that she might have been perfectly fine if that Han Minjae hadn't provoked her. All alone, she was enjoying her time yet he had to come and ruin that for her. This time he went too far by even potentially endangering her life! Not wanting to blame herself, she held Han Minjae responsible for it in her mind and started to curse at him. Nonetheless, she did not voice out her thoughts to Hyunjin, having a feeling that would only lead for her session with the man to be longer.Finding herself to be in an extremely awkward situation, she started to count numbers in her head, hoping that the time would pass by soon.
True to his words, he allowed her to go around the mansion. Once again, her caretaker was replaced by someone named Kim Yoona. It seemed that the rules here were strict, and breaking of one could lead to grave consequences. Either that, or anything concerned with her was treated with great seriousness. Therefore, since she managed to escape both the times— which couldn't be blamed on the caretaker— they were fired for possibly being incompetent at their job.Without having anyone to explain that to her, she was able to deduce it. Nonetheless, staying true to her selfish nature, she did not care about them.It was none of her business whether or not they were out of their jobs. She wanted to do whatever she wanted without these restrictions holding her back.Maybe she was slightly guilty, but that wasn't enough to obstruct her.Her care
