Rachel!!

Gabby loses the strength and anger she felt earlier on her way here and her intention to scream some sense into Desmond vanishes into thin air. 

Seeing him in this state of pain and helplessness makes her wish she could help him or at least attend to his busted knuckles but she knows better than to approach Desmond when he's like this. 

Else his knuckles won't be the only things out of place but her jaw would join the limbo line too.

This sight makes her know Desmond sure has feelings for Sonia but if she knows Sonia as well as she thinks she does, she also knows what Desmond did today would make Sonia see him in a different light. What he did would push Sonia as far away as possible for him. She has to do something if not the dear ship she's been pushing would sink to rock bottom.
