If Only You Knew

“I’m going to go back to my room,” Aimie tried to steady her breathing since she was flustered by Mark’s back hug. “You better leave now if you don’t want to stay on the road driving the whole night.”

“I know you’re mad because of what I have told you during the party, and I don’t know what to do for your anger to vanish. Tell me what I should do for you to forgive me.” Angelo muttered as he leaned his face on the nook of Aimie’s neck.

Aimie felt the breathing of Mark against her neck; goosebumps instantly appeared all over her body because of how close Mark was to her. For a moment, Aimie doesn’t know what to do with how things progress, it was just a few minutes ago when Mark was leisurely sitting on the couch with a haughty look on his face, but now he was trying to earn her forgiveness. This action of Mark made Aimie feel weird since, although she had grown used to Mark’s loving gestures, it was her first time to see him sincerely ask for forgiveness.
