Chapter 13

"Kaedence, Kaedence wake up please" Tia was panting, "the moon it's almost in place we need to get outside now!" she screamed at me. I jumped up waking up Devllin, "Mi amour? what's the matter?" he said with a concerned look on his face. I could hardly catch my breath, it's almost time I need to go outside" I said in a shaky breath. Devllin grabbed my hand and looked out the window, it was lightning and thundering outside the rain was pouring down, I heard him let out a sigh and shake his head. "Okay, but we must be careful" Devllin seemed against it but he knew I couldn't help it. "Can you make a small car ride? I have the perfect place for this and it's much safer" I nod in agreement suddenly my knees become weak and can hardly walk, Devllin scoops me in his arms and runs outside and puts me in his old truck, I can hear the tires spin as he peels out of the driveway and heads down the mountain.
