As much as I felt open to Dave, I feel like a part of my burden has been lifted off.

I never knew telling him would be this difficult yet simple. I never knew he'd understand easily and give his support.

It felt like I didn't just tell him the biggest secret of my life. I thought after telling him I'm going to feel ashamed because he's going to be disgusted in me but no. It was the whole opposite.

He accepted everything as if it was not a big deal and he didn't judge me like I thought he would.

How did I get this lucky?

Even though I know he has given me his word, I know he's going to do his best but I can't relax and leave everything to him.

Dave accepting me for who I am is more than enough. That alone is enough and knowing that he's there for me would do. I couldn't ask for more.

"So what's next?" I yawned.

" Let's sleep but first lemme clean your wound."

I nod and we walked back to the washroom where he cleaned the wound neatly.

He knows how to handle injuries perfectly.
