I blinked multiple times as I tried to let Leona's disappearance sink in.

Leona is really gone and it's all my fault.

I shook my head and stepped back a little as Raymond's suspicious eyes bore into mine.

I demanded honesty from Leona and practically forced her to tell me everything about her which she did, something she was not so comfortable with, but she did.

And what did I do?

I omitted telling her about Katherine and her...well our daughter despite how clean she came with me.

I wished I had clarified everything to her then she wouldn't have left me. But I didn't know everything was going to blow up in my face the way it did.

I didn't know mum was going to take such a step. She ruined everything for me. What perfect timing, I was going to make Leona mine in front of everyone. I was going to engage her but then...

As for mum and Kathy, I will give them my piece of mind later.
