Chapter Sixty-three

Throughout our trip to Sam's coffee shop, she kept on a wry face and didn't say a word to me.

I've heard people who live in New York City can speak and understand the mumbling utterances made in the train by the conductor but I get to witness it once we got to the street we are to stop and immediately the conductor mumbles something which I paid no attention to Sam stands up.

" Let's go, the train won't be taking the route we are supposed to alight at the due to some issues." She explained.

" Wait, how did you learn all these?" I ask.

"I speak conductor fluently." She brags as she continues out and I follow her though surprised at how weird it is that she could hear and understand apparently what the conductor just murmured.

We found our way through the station and outside to the road where we take a cab down to her coffee shop as we make our entrance into the shop.
