Chapter Seventy-Two

Hailey's POV

"What was all that bullshit you did out there?" Colton asked as he banged his hand so hard on the table, it nearly gave me a heart attack.

I jumped. " I'm sorry. If it wasn't urgent then..."

" Then what? Who do you think you are to barge into my office and create such chaos?" He walked up to me and grabbed my arm.

" Nobody. I'm a nobody." I said quietly and he let go of me as if he saw through me and then took a few steps back to his desk.

" What do you want?" He asked as he slowly placed the bottled water back on his table.

" To save my mother, I need $40,000 for her surgery."

He scoffed " That's a huge sum of money, and why do you think I'd give you such an amount?" He asked sitting on the chair behind the desk.

" I don't know. I guess I don't have a lot of options on my table. I'm just playing all my cards and thats why I came to you."

" I can give you forty grand but what do I get in return." He asked stroking his chin.

" Whatever you want?" I said without hesitation
